The Post-Valentine edition

Thank you so much to all of you who came and joined us for dinner on Valentines Day and on Friday. I think it would be fair to say that you enjoyed the experience (both food and surroundings) and many of you expressed an interest in coming for other events.

We are looking at collaborating with the Plaza so that when they host an event, we can offer a pre-theater dinner. The first one will be on Friday March 1 to coordinate with the Gatlin Brothers concert. There will be two seatings - the first starting at 5 pm for concert ticket holders, and the next at 7.30 pm for anyone who would just like to come for dinner.

Menu

Starters:

Piedmont roasted peppers with Camembert toasts

Kisir (a flavorful bulgur wheat salad with hazelnuts, herbs, vegetables and spices) served with pita bread and hummus

Main course:

Moussaka (layers of eggplant and minced beef topped with a creamy cheese sauce) served with a mixed ‘barbecue’ salad

Grilled salmon with couscous and roasted vegetables with salsa verde

Desserts:

Fresh fruit pavlova

Tarte tatin with creme anglaise
