  • "This is a candid review. My wife and I have traveled and had many experiences at a Bed and Breakfast place. Each has its niche, and it is up to the traveler to match that to what they are looking for. It is decorated with significant pieces of history and is very well maintained. This is a quiet and reserved BB where someone can go to experience a separation from the go-go-go of the day. This is especially true when you appreciate that there are no televisions in the room, but there is a TV room downstairs. They have great Wi-Fi, so if you want to jump back into the hustle and bustle, you may use your electronic devices to whatever extent you want. It is not a commercialized BB. It is very close to town, and navigating Eatonton is extremely easy. It was a perfect hub for the first stretch of our travels. Karen was the best and had great communication throughout. We didn't have an opportunity to meet Richard. But at the one place we went for dinner, the customers sang praises of Richard and Karen in many ways. Karen is a Chef, and I think I disappointed her with a simple breakfast request of a two-ingredient omelet. LOL."

  • "Our stay was absolutely delightful! The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The accommodations were wonderful—comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged. The location couldn’t have been better, just around the corner from the museum we were visiting. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"

    Elaine Carroll

  • "What a gorgeous spot. We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely home to stay in while on vacation visiting family here in Eatonton. Karen & Richard are so nice. Karen is the best chef, she makes an incredible breakfast!"

    Sarah Bocchi

  • "What a treat to stay at this home! Karen accepted my late request to stay overnight as I was traveling through and had some mechanical issues with my car. She and her family are the sweetest! Very knowledgeable and well traveled people who make you feel very accommodated and cared for. The rooms are absolutely incredible, and the library is so cozy! I wish I had more time to spend there. Karen is an AMAZING chef!! The breakfast in the morning is alone worth the stay! I would travel far out of my way to go to this place again-it's truly a gem! Thank you for the pleasure of staying in your home and for all the help and support you provided to help get me and my car up and running again:)"

    Julia Hederstrom

  • "This was my fiancé and I’s first time ever staying in an Airbnb. We were not sure what to expect.. But, we are so very happy with our decision! Karen did a wonderful job hosting us. I can only hope the rest of our Airbnb stays are as wonderful as this one. The home, decor, garden, and rooms are so beautiful and well maintained. The home itself is a work of art. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Karen started us off with delicious fruit and yogurt. The main course was homemade French Toast, crispy bacon, and delicious eggs cooked to our preference. Juice, Tea, & Coffee were all provided as well. Absolutely delicious! All I can say is Karen went above an beyond our expectations! Absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!"
